The Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) is the premier think tank of the Federal Government on socio-economic issues. Established in 1960, with its headquarters in Ibadan Oyo State. The Institute is mandated to conduct scholarly research, provide policy analysis and develop policy
recommendations that promote social and economic development in the country.

General conditions for all new appointments:
- Candidate must not be less than 18 years and not be more than 50 years of age.
