Job Summary
- A trainee accountant is an entry-level professional who supports a finance team with routine bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting while learning the profession under the supervision of qualified accountants.

Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Transactions: Input daily invoices, expenses, and cash book entries into accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage.
- Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Month-End Support: Assist with journal entries, trial balances, and month-end closing procedures.
- Audit Preparation: Organize financial documents and verify records for internal and external audits.
- Compliance: Help ensure financial files adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal company policies.
