Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State Government in 2008. The University was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa. The Ondo State Government changed the name of the University to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in December, 2019. The University is a technology-based institution which aims at providing the needed manpower training in order to address the critical areas of industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The Vision of the University is to be a leading internationally recognized institution raising a corpus of technologically competent individuals able to respond to the needs of their environment in a technologically driven economy. The rapidly growing University currently runs academic programmes in three Schools. These are School of Science, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology and School of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
Job Title: Deputy of Information, Protocol and Public Relations
Location: Okitipupa, Ondo
Job Summary
- The Director will oversee the development and implementation of information strategies, manage protocol services, and ensure effective communication and representation of the university.
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidates are required to possess a good degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field, with a minimum of Nineteen (19) years of cognate experience within a university or similar institution plus a Master’s degree in the above discipline with fifteen years of cognate experience.
- Additionally, at least three (3) of those years should have been served in a Deputy Director capacity, and registration with relevant professional bodies is mandatory.
Specifically, the candidate is expected to:
- Develop and implement information, protocol, and public relations strategies.
- Manage media relations and communications.
- Coordinate protocol events and ceremonies.
- Provide strategic advice on public relations and image management.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including media, government, and alumni, and must be computer literabe.

Job Title: Deputy Registrar
Location: Okitipupa, Ondo
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess a good degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) plus a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum of twelve (12) years cognate experience in a university system or relevant tertiary institution of higher learning, three (3) of which must have been at the Semi Management Position (Principal Assistant Registrar).
- The candidate must be a member of at least one relevant professional body e.g. NIM, NIPM, CIPM, ANUPA, etc.
Specifically, the candidate is expected to be a person:
- Demonstrates strong leadership abilities capable of inspiring and motivating team members
- Values and actively promotes merit-based recognition
- Maintains focus, demonstrates innovation, and possesses effective communication skills
- Exhibits excellent physical and mental health and is proficient in computer literacy.

Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must possess a good degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and must be registerable with relevant professional bodies (eg. COREN, NSE).
- The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in Electrical Engineering with strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes and regulations.

Job Title: Architect

Job Summary
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and other infrastructure projects within the university.
Responsibilities
Specifically, the candidate will be expected to:
- Design and develop architectural plans and specifications.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project requirements.
- Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with designs and regulations,
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and other Professional
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must possess a good Honours degree or equivalent in Architecture, registerable with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), or any other relevant professional bodies.
- The candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience or a Master’s degree in Architecture with two (2) years of experience and must be computer literate.
