Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2026 NHEF Scholars Program, applicants must:

  • Be penultimate-year students enrolled at an NHEF Partner University, namely Ahmadu Bello University, Bayero University, University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, University of Nigeria, or University of Port Harcourt
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance alongside excellence in extracurricular and professional activities
  • Show a clear commitment to community service, philanthropy, and a desire to make a lasting societal impact

Application Closing Date: 13th March, 2026

How to Apply
All applications must be submitted through the official NHEF Application Portal. Completed applications must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (WAT) on March 13, 2026.
