Position Overview
- This program is designed to provide fresh graduates with hands-on industry exposure, structured training, and mentorship to develop technical expertise and leadership skills for future roles within the organization.
- We are seeking highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Trainees in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, and Metallurgical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to plant operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support ongoing operations.
- Participate in structured training programs covering technical, operational, and safety aspects of engineering.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations as required.
- Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects.
- Demonstrate initiative and innovation in applying engineering knowledge to practical problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Discipline – Specific Exposure Electrical Engineering:
- Energy efficiency and automation projects.
- Power generation, distribution, and control systems.
- Maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Mechanical Engineering:
- Reliability engineering and preventive maintenance.
- Design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Rotating equipment, HVAC, and manufacturing processes.
Mining Engineering:
- Safety and environmental management in mining operations.
- Exposure to mineral processing and resource estimation.
- Mine planning, drilling, blasting, and ore extraction techniques.
Metallurgical Engineering:
- Metallurgical testing, analysis, and process optimization.
- Materials characterization and failure analysis.
- Smelting, refining, and alloy development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in challenging environments.
- Excellent problem – solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong academic record and technical foundation.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of experience.
Competencies & Skills:
- Ability to work under supervision and progressively take responsibility.
- Teamwork and collaboration across diverse disciplines.
- Technical aptitude and eagerness to develop expertise.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
