Scholarships You Can Count On
All doctoral candidates admitted to the program will receive doctoral scholarships funded by the university.

- PLN 4,242/month gross before mid-term evaluation
- PLN 5,340.90/month gross after mid-term evaluation
- Candidates with a disability certificate are eligible for an additional PLN 1,040.70/month gross
Moreover, a “Scholarship to Start” will be granted to 20% of candidates with the highest enrolment scores in each discipline. This incentive is fully funded by the University of Warsaw.
“Implementation PhD” Program
Applicants can also apply for the Implementation PhD track, funded by Poland’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This track allows candidates to conduct their doctoral research in collaboration with a company or organization, with real-world implementation of their findings at the workplace.

- Application Deadline: Enrolment via the Internet Recruitment of Candidates (IRK) portal (https://en.uw.edu.pl/admissions-for-uw-doctoral-schools-2025-2026/) is open until 29 May 2025.
- Implementation PhD Program Deadline: Applications open 22 April and close 6 May 2025.
- Interviews and Evaluations: After the enrolment deadline, candidate proposals and documents will be evaluated. Shortlisted applicants will undergo exams (Exact Sciences) or interviews (all schools).
- Admission Results: Final admission decisions will be announced in July 2025.
