About the Opportunity

The employer is seeking highly skilled and experienced engineers who can oversee elevator installation projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in elevator systems, electrical installations, mechanical engineering, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Installing elevator systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Performing testing and commissioning of newly installed elevators.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications.
  • Conducting pre-installation site inspections to evaluate project readiness.
  • Identifying and resolving electrical, mechanical, and system-related faults.
  • Ensuring all installation activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinating with project managers, technicians, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Carrying out troubleshooting and corrective maintenance where necessary.

Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in elevator installation, elevator commissioning, or MEP installation projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, motors, wiring systems, and engineering principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
  • OEM elevator training certification will be considered an added advantage.
  • Ability to work comfortably on construction sites and at heights.
  • Willingness to travel and work across multiple project locations when required.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
