Summary

  • Waaxaa Foundation is seeking a proactive and results-driven Partnership Officer to strengthen strategic relationships and drive collaborations that support the Foundation’s healthcare and social impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise Funds
  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with corporate bodies, NGOs, government agencies, and donors
  • Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Support fundraising, sponsorship, and resource-mobilization initiatives
  • Draft partnership proposals, MOUs, and collaboration agreements
  • Represent the Foundation at meetings, events, and partnership engagements
  • Monitor and report on partnership activities and outcomes
  • Work closely with internal teams to align partnerships with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences, International Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, or related roles
  • Experience working in the health or healthcare sector is an added advantage
  • Proven experience managing external stakeholders and strategic partnerships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Excellent proposal writing and presentation abilities
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and organizational skills.
