Job Title: Mechanical Preparator Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Main Duties

  • Prepare scopes of work and ensure that all materials and equipment are available as and when required for modifications, repairs or maintenance activities.
  • Prepare scopes of work for approved work programmes ensuring that all relevant operating procedures and safety regulations are written in and that all necessary materials and equipment are available as and when required.
  • Prepare with COMPANY review and Validation, various calls for bid to contractors invited to tender for work to be carried out.
  • Supervise the execution of modification works at site, or as required by his hierarchy, especially for works executed by external contractors. He ensures that proper
  • COMPANY procedures are followed, and that all modifications are properly documented.
  • Assist with the analysis of equipment malfunctions and makes recommendations for repair and future preventive action.
  • Propose and justify recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability and/or efficiency, and works with other entities in Production Methods to execute desired modifications.
  • Assist with the preparation of the preventive maintenance schedule for plant and equipment and ensures that planned work takes place.
  • Under direction of COMPANY, Follow and analyse on-site spare parts stock levels ensuring they are adequate and maintained, and that materials/equipment received accord with specifications.

Job Title: E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator

Job Description

  • We are currently looking for E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator – to join its work force in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
Suitable candidate shall be responsible for:

  • Setup and administer an AVEVA 3D database for the Project Portfolio Management organization.
  • Develop workflows to optimize the benefit of the new  engineering design system and continually improve same with lessons learnt and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D plant models using AVEVA E3D, based on approved engineering drawings, specifications, project standards, and design inputs.
  • Create and modify equipment, piping, structural steel, supports, platforms, ladders, and other plant components within the E3D environment.
  • Provide support and resources to all projects within the perimeter of PPM organizational structure
  • Interpret engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications, line lists, plot plans, datasheets, and vendor information and translate them into an accurate 3D model.
  • Ensure the 3D model reflects the latest approved engineering information and is aligned with project design requirements, codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Carry out model reviews and design checks to identify clashes, accessibility issues, constructability concerns, and other potential design problems before fabrication or construction.
  • Perform clash detection and model validation, coordinating with other disciplines to resolve spatial conflicts and minimize rework.
  • Develop piping layouts with appropriate consideration for routing, accessibility, operation, maintenance, stress requirements, supports, drainage, venting, and constructability.
  • Maintain proper model hierarchy, naming conventions, tagging, attributes, and database integrity in accordance with project and E3D standards.
  • Produce and update isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings, orthographic views, and other model-generated deliverables as required.
  • Verify equipment, piping, structural, and instrumentation components.
  • Support model corrections, update workflows, record findings and provide clear technical review comments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and information management teams.
  • Participate in quality assurance and model verification activities.

Profile
Qualifiications / Experience Required:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design or Drafting. A B.Eng. / B. Tech is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years in AVEVA E3D / PDMS modelling and management.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks.
  • Expert Level Skills in AutoCAD.
  • Expert level in point cloud processing and model validation workflows.
  • Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, Infrastructure, or Industrial Facilities.
  • Familiarity with various modules of AVEVA E3D – Draw, Iso-draft, paragon, Administration & Lexicon.
  • Strong ability to model piping / structural / electric designs using AVEVA E3D.
  • Ability to setup MDS – multidisciplinary support system.
  • Ability to setup and manage projects and databases using appropriate AVEVA E3D modules.
  • Production of design deliverable from AVEVA E3D – piping isometrics, plot plan / PGAD, MTO, portable viewing model on Navisworks and file import from other software and export from AVEVA to other format.
  • Modelling from 3D laser scan to AVEVA.
  • Expert Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD with minimum 3years as key user of AVEVA PDMS / E3D.
  • Projectized work environment / culture.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas EPC Projects.
  • Knowledge of plant design, constructability, operability, maintainability, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Competent in 3D model review, clash detection, model validation, and design checking.
  • Understanding of piping components, valves, fittings, supports, equipment, structural steel, and access requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical and spatial design issues.
  • Ability to work to tight project schedules while maintaining quality and design consistency.
  • Experience working with laser scan point clouds and industrial E3D models.

Job Title: Resident Site Engineering Superintendent

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • We are currently looking for RSES-D to join its work force in Nigeria.
  • The RSES-D guarantee that construction works are carried out in compliance with project objectives, HSE rules, ISO 14001requirements, project specifications and technical dossiers, technical requirements, approved cost and schedule targets, with full professional and ethical integrity.
  • He is the Company representative in BONNY.

RSES-D:

  • Exercise the delegated RSES authority within the assigned perimeter.
  • Ensure that activities within the delegated perimeter are performed safely and in accordance with applicable HSE rules, procedures and technical references.
  • Lead each party towards schedule and performance objectives of the project.
  • Coordinate interfaces between construction, commissioning, production and other simultaneous activities.
  • Participate in the assessment and control of risks associated with SIMOPS.
  • Verify that appropriate risk control measures are in place before authorizing work.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the Permit to Work system within the delegated perimeter.
  • Coordinate with the BNAG RSES (Renaissance), and other Operators involved in Onshore Pipeline. Immediately report any significant change to the work program or operating conditions.
  • Maintain clear communication with Operations, HSE personnel, supervisors and contractors.
  • Stop or suspend any activity considered unsafe or likely to endanger personnel, facilities or the environment.
  • Contribute to the management of emergency situations in coordination with the Site RSES and the site emergency response organization.
    Coordinate and support all security and community assessments at site

Temporary Construction Camp (TCC) security and management:

  • Responsible for the TCC safety and security in coordination with the EPC Contractor and GSF team.
  • Control and manage the POB.

Health, Safety and Environment Responsibilities (HSE):

  • Ensure that contractors’ HSE practices are acceptable and that HSE procedures and preventive measures are properly understood and implemented.
  • Ensure that all risks associated with the activities and the operating environment are correctly identified, assessed and incorporated into the planning of the works.
  • Manage and sign the Work permits in his dedicated area (out of process area).
  • Ensure that construction equipment and resources are compliant, suitable for their intended purpose and properly used by personnel.
  • Ensure that the required controls are correctly and effectively implemented.
  • Report any anomalies with a minimum target of twenty-five (25) reported anomalies per year and encourage reporting across the Workforce
    Enforce implementation of Company Golden Rules.
  • Act on a daily basis in compliance with the project HSE commitments.
  • Ensure that the Environmental Management System is monitored and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard.

Profile
Site Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate the project team in BONNY for all IMA project packages and across all disciplines.
  • Ensure effective supervision and control of contractors’ activities throughout the execution of the works to meet objectives of both packages.

Construction and SIMOPS Coordination:

  • Coordinate all contractor activities carried out within the IMA project enclosed construction area or under SIMOPS conditions in BNAG, along the Onshore pipeline works or on the shore pull for SURF package works
  • Manage operational interfaces with the BNAG RSES
  • Act as the Project Manager’s representative on Site
  • Serve as the main point of contact for contractors working on the construction Site.

Issues and Changes Management:

  • Anticipate and assess the significance and urgency of potential issues.
  • Obtain the implementation of appropriate corrective actions within the applicable contractual framework.
  • Submit any variation, change or potential contractual impact to the Project Manager and the relevant management for prior approval.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Obtain and verify the physical progress of the works for each package
    Monitor actual execution hours and total hours worked
  • Ensure that the associated progress and manpower reports are accurate and properly maintained
  • Issue a weekly report for each package
  • Verify that contractors’ reports accurately reflect the actual status of the works
  • Prepare and submit a final report to management, including an assessment of Quality and Schedule performance
  • Ensure that all documents required for the preparation of the Final Documentation Dossier, DFA, have been produced and are adequate.
  • Perform any additional duties falling within the position holder’s area of competence, in accordance with management instructions.
  • Ensure that the performance of packages and the plan are in line with contract.

Qualifications / Experience Required
