  • As operations expand, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment to strengthen our supply chain and ensure seamless procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

Job Summary

  • The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase processes, and ensuring cost-effective procurement that aligns with the company’s production goals.
  • This role requires someone who understands production workflow, inventory control, and vendor management in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing:

  • Identify, evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, equipment, and operational items.
  • Obtain quotations, compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to support consistent supply flow.
  • Conduct routine supplier performance evaluations and recommend improvements.

Purchase Management:

  • Raise purchase orders and follow up until complete delivery is achieved.
  • Ensure timely procurement to avoid production downtime or stock-outs.
  • Track purchase requisitions from all departments and ensure proper authorization before processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchases, invoices, and payment receipts.

Inventory & Stock Control:

  • Work closely with the storekeeper and production team to determine stock levels, reorder quantities, and material usage patterns.
  • Monitor inventory movements to ensure optimal stock levels at all times.
  • Prevent waste, pilferage, and overstocking through proper planning and tracking.

Cost & Quality Management:

  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and supply agreements in line with company objectives.
  • Ensure all procured materials meet quality standards required for production.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work with Accounts, Production, Maintenance, and Admin departments for seamless workflow.
  • Support production planning by providing accurate updates on material availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years procurement experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Must have).
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Solid understanding of stock control, production materials, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Job Title: Financial Account Officer

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Officer to support daily financial operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, where attention to cost tracking, inventory reconciliation, and financial accuracy is essential.
  • This position plays a key role in ensuring proper documentation, accurate record-keeping, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Financial Operations:

  • The Account Officer will record financial transactions, update ledgers, post entries into accounting systems, and ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other documentation.
  • They will assist the Accountant with analyzing financial information and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: The role includes managing supplier and customer accounts, preparing payment schedules, processing approved payments, raising invoices, issuing receipts, reconciling balances, and ensuring proper follow-up on outstanding amounts.
  • Banking & Reconciliation: The Account Officer will assist with preparing bank deposit slips, ensuring timely lodgment of cash and cheques, conducting daily bank reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies promptly.

Inventory & Cost Support (Production Environment):

  • Working closely with the store and production teams, the Account Officer will help track raw material usage, reconcile stock records, monitor variances, and support cost control efforts.
  • The individual must be able to verify stock movement documents, purchase records, and production consumption sheets.
  • Payroll & Staff Expenses Support: They will assist in preparing payroll schedules, verifying attendance sheets, reviewing expense claims, and ensuring proper approval and documentation.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • The role supports the preparation of compliance documents, tax records, audit schedules, petty cash management, and adherence to company financial policies.
  • The officer will maintain an up-to-date filing system for financial documents for audit readiness.
  • Collaboration & Support: The Account Officer works directly under the Accountant but collaborates with procurement, store, operations, and admin teams to ensure proper financial controls and accurate internal reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 1 – 3 years relevant experience, preferably in an agro, production, manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Good Excel skills.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and financial discipline.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Job Title: Quality Control Officer

About the Role

  • We are seeking a diligent and analytical Quality Control Officer to join our production team.
  • This role is critical to ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality specifications, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, methodical, and capable of identifying issues early in the production cycle.
  • The Quality Control Officer will work closely with the Quality Control Manager, production supervisors, machine operators, and store officers to maintain consistent production quality, reduce wastage, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection & Monitoring: The officer will conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet approved standards.
  • Testing & Analysis:The role includes performing physical and visual tests, documenting results, and ensuring samples are collected correctly. The officer will escalate any deviations or defects immediately to the Quality Control Manager.
  • Documentation & Reporting: The officer will maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, deviations, production issues, corrective actions, batch numbers, and daily QC logs. They will support the QC Manager in preparing weekly and monthly quality reports.
  • Compliance & SOP Enforcement: The officer will ensure production teams follow quality standards, hygiene guidelines, workplace safety rules, and approved SOPs. They will assist in identifying gaps and recommending corrective measures.
  • Collaboration with Production Team: The officer will work closely with the production team to monitor processes, identify quality risks, prevent mix-ups, verify calibration of measurement tools, and reduce rework or product wastage.
  • Product Release & Rejection: The officer will participate in approving batches that meet required standards and rejecting defective products.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 – 5years experience in quality control within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools, QC forms, and documentation templates.
  • Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and identify production inconsistencies quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Preferbly a Male for Gender balance.
