Eligibility for the CHO Training Programme:

General Requirements:

Five (5) O’level Credits in WAEC, NECO, Or NABTEB (ENGLISH Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics) Obtained in not More than two Sittings. Registration with the Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and a Valid Practicing Licence.

One Year Programme (conversion):

Diploma in Community Health Extension Work (CHEW) or a Community Health, Public Health, Health Education, or Related Health Discipline Minimum of Two (2) Years’ Post-qualification Clinical Experience. NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (for Degree Holders).

Two Years Programme:

Diploma in Community Health or Chew Certificate. Two (2) to Five (5) Years’ Post-qualification Experience in a Recognized Health Facility.
