African Union CIEFFA Online Capacity Building Training 2026 | Applications Now Open

Applications are now open for the African Union International Centre for Girls’ and Women’s Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA) Online Capacity Building Training 2026, organised in partnership with ImpactHER.

Under the theme of empowering young Africans with future-ready skills, this programme is designed to equip participants across all 55 African Union Member States and the African Diaspora with practical knowledge in:

Digital skills
Entrepreneurship development
Financial literacy
Innovation and business growth strategies

The training aims to prepare young people to thrive in the modern economy by providing them with valuable tools, resources, and skills needed for career advancement, entrepreneurship, and financial independence.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be an African woman or man, including members of the African Diaspora.
Demonstrate an interest in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
Show strong motivation and leadership potential.
Have access to a smartphone, computer, or other internet-enabled device.
Be able to understand and communicate in English, French, or Portuguese.

Training Structure

Participants will be assigned to different training batches.
Each batch will run for one month, beginning 31 August 2026.
Participants must attend at least 80% of all sessions to qualify for certification.

Participants will receive training in:

Gender Equality in and through Education
Digital Skills and Digital Literacy
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)
Financial Literacy
Entrepreneurship and Business Development
