What is RASP?
The Ruminant Agribusiness Starter Programme (RASP) is a youth-focused training initiative aimed at introducing young Nigerians to the world of ruminant livestock farming including cattle, sheep, and goat rearing. It is tailored for individuals with little to no background in agriculture but who are passionate and ready to learn.
What You Will Learn
During the 2-month programme, selected participants will gain practical skills and industry knowledge, including
Handling of ruminants: cattle, goats, and sheep
Feeding, housing, and basic animal care practices
Understanding the livestock value chain and agribusiness opportunities
