The Flagship Fellowship Program is a unique initiative that brings together 30 entrepreneurs who are at a crucial stage in their ventures – they have shown promise but need support to grow and expand their impact. Each Fellowship is tailored to the specific focus area and location of the entrepreneurs, but all participants share in a life-changing program that fosters a strong community dedicated to addressing important issues in their communities.
The Watson Institute is now accepting applications for the 2025 Flagship Fellowship. This fully-funded 16-week program is designed for entrepreneurs who are driven by making a difference and are looking to grow their ventures. Participants will benefit from:

The Fellowship kicks off with an immersive in-person experience in Boulder, CO in August 2025, followed by 15 weeks of virtual programming that includes training, mentorship, and a supportive community of peers.
Applications for the Flagship Fellowship are now open, with a priority deadline of June 22, 2025. After that date, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
Eligibility:
Entrepreneurs from around the world are encouraged to apply, with a preference for applicants from the United States, China, Brazil, and East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), South Sudan).

Application Process
1. Submit Your Application: Candidates complete the online application in approximately 30 minutes. Submit by the priority deadline of June 22, 2025, for early consideration. Applications will continue to be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
2. Application Review:ÂOur Admissions Committee evaluates applications to identify innovative entrepreneurs with scalable ventures and strong potential for impact. Early applicants receive priority consideration.
3. Interview: Selected candidates will be invited to a 20-minute Zoom interview to share their entrepreneurial journey, discuss their venture’s vision for growth, and explore how the Fellowship aligns with their goals.
4. Final Selection & Enrollment: Final decisions will be announced by August, 2025. Accepted applicants must confirm their enrollment to secure their spot. The program begins on August 18, 2025.
