The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is a Federal Government agency responsible for the governance, administration, and operation of Nigeria’s seaports. Its major port facilities include the Lagos Port Complex, Lekki Deep Sea Port, Tin Can Island Port Complex, Calabar Port Complex, Delta Ports in Warri, and the Rivers and Onne Port Complexes in Rivers State.
The Authority operates under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Marine & Blue Economy and works closely with other relevant government agencies to facilitate efficient maritime operations and contribute to Nigeria’s economic development.

- Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS)
