Job Title: Dental Surgery Technologist
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Description
- The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the position below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.
Duties
- Perform basic dental procedure within the ambit of Dental Surgery Technologist e.g. Scaling and polishing.
- Provide preventive dental care.
- Prepare the dental operatory and ensure all instruments and materials are ready before procedures.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Provide support with dental imaging.
- Ensure effective infection control and sterilization of instruments in compliance with medical protocols.
- Monitor patient comfort and well-being during treatment.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate charting.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.
- Maintain dental inventory and alert the supervisor about supplies that need to be.
- Ensure compliance with the facility’s safety, health, and ethical guidelines.

Requirements
- HND in Dental Surgery Technology or HND in Dental Technician, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience performing similar functions in a structured organization.

Job Title: Medical Officer

Description
- The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the position below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.
Duties
- Manage common medical, surgical, OB-GYN and pediatric conditions.
- Provide first aid for emergencies in trauma, communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases.
- Set up intravenous infusion as the need arises.
- Patient health education on hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle, family planning, disease prevention, etc.
- Collaborate with nurses to create educational content for health seminars.
- Facilitate / conduct relevant occupational health related activities in liaison with the Occupational health team and as directed by the unit head.
- Arrange referrals to external health facilities in liaison with the Family Physician.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of specialist clinics.
- Engage in relevant follow-up on patients in line with their clinical conditions.
- Investigate clinical problems with the use of medical laboratory, and other diagnostic equipment.

Requirements
- MBBS / MBChB with a current annual medical practising licence and a minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice experience in standard medical facilities, covering outpatient, inpatient, and paediatric care.

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Protocol & External Liaison

Duties
Diplomatic & Travel Services Support:
- Support the day-to-day coordination of protocol, immigration, diplomatic and travel service requests in line with approved procedures and service standards.
- Track and support the processing of visas, residence permits, diplomatic identity cards, ECOWAS travel documentation, customs exemptions, and related official documentation across Headquarters, Abuja, and Lagos.
- Support operational follow-up for diplomatic CT number plate registration, vehicle disposal exercises and return of assigned diplomatic registration numbers.
- Monitor service requests against established service level agreements (SLAs) and escalate delayed or high-risk cases to the Manager for guidance and for timely resolution.

Government Liaison:
- Support engagement and liaison with ministries, government agencies, embassies, immigration and customs authorities, and other external stakeholders.

- Support operational information flow between Headquarters, Abuja and Lagos teams to reduce duplication and keep requests aligned with the approved workflow.

Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain workflow tracking, dashboard reporting, KPI monitoring, case management updates, and chargeback reporting for Manager review.
- Support document management, correspondence standardization, records management, and archiving system.
- Support the monitoring of SOP implementation, internal controls, audit readiness and compliance requirements, escalating gaps to the Manager.
