2026 Federal Government NPRGS Technical & Vocational Upskilling Training Programme
The NPRGS is a Federal Government initiative focused on poverty reduction, economic empowerment and inclusive growth.
Its technical and vocational training component is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, implemented by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (OSSAP-TVEE).
The programme provides beneficiaries with practical skills that can strengthen their chances of securing jobs, launching businesses and building sustainable sources of income.

Available Training Areas
Applicants for the Oyo State phase can choose from the following skills:
- Graphics/Artificial Intelligence
- Fashion Designing
- Makeup
Applicants are expected to select their preferred training area while completing the application form.
Who Can Apply?
The application is open to Nigerians who are interested in acquiring or improving practical technical and vocational skills.
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens
- Be able to participate physically in Ibadan, Oyo State
- Be available for the complete training period
- Have an interest in one of the available training areas
- Provide accurate personal and contact information
- Be willing to commit to the programme’s attendance requirements
- Follow the OSSAP-TVEE office page @dr_abiola_arogundade on Instagram, as required on the application form
The application accommodates people from different educational backgrounds, including those with:
- No formal education
- Primary education
- Secondary education such as WAEC or NECO
- Vocational or technical qualifications
- Diploma, NCE or HND qualifications
- Bachelor’s degrees
- Postgraduate degrees
Applicants may also be students, self-employed, unemployed, government employees or workers in private businesses and organisations.
Training Location and Schedule
The training is an intensive physical programme and applicants should consider their availability before registering.
- Location: Ibadan, Oyo State
- Duration: 2 consecutive weeks
- Training days: Monday to Friday
- Training time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Attendance: Physical attendance is mandatory
