Caliphate Air is a Nigerian airline that is gearing up to start offering domestic passenger and cargo services. We were granted our Air Transport Licence (ATL) in 2025 and are currently in the process of obtaining the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Our official launch is set for the summer of 2026, with operations centered at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (FTC-Abuja). Our main goal is to provide a customer-focused travel experience that prioritizes safety, operational efficiency, and punctuality. As a company owned entirely by the Sokoto State Government, Caliphate Air functions as a limited liability entity under the Sokoto State Investment Council, blending governmental support with professional airline management to ensure long-term success.
