NAE is looking for Nigerian graduates who are passionate and qualified to apply for this scholarship opportunity. The scholarship is divided into two categories:
1. Overseas – for studying at a reputable international university
2. Local – for studying at a recognized Nigerian university

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be considered for the 2026/2027 NAE Post Graduate Scholarship Award scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
– Hold a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
– Have been accepted into a Nigerian or overseas university for a one-year master’s degree program in one of the specified disciplines.
– Be under the age of 28 by December 31st, 2026.
– Have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
– Possess a valid international passport with at least one year of validity from September 2026 (for overseas category).
Areas of Study:
Only candidates who have received an offer of admission in disciplines related to the following areas are eligible to apply:
– Geosciences
– Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental, Renewable)
– Petroleum Economics
– Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)
Application Requirements:
Before beginning the application process, candidates should have the following documents scanned and ready:
– Recent passport photograph with a white background (450 x 450 pixels)
– Provisional admission letter for post-graduate studies for the 2025/2026 session at a reputable university (local/overseas)
– First Degree Certificate
– NYSC Discharge Certificate
– Valid ID card (Driver’s license, Voter’s card, National Identity card)
– Valid International Passport Data Page (for overseas category only, valid for at least one year from September 2026)
– Birth Certificate from the local government
– NAE Compliance Declaration Form
