Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lekki for a Fashion Designer & Customer Consultation Lead for our female brand. Daily responsibilities include designing intricate, high-quality garments such as suits, gowns, and other womens wears.
- The role also requires conducting fittings, advising customers on design choices, and ensuring excellent customer consultations that align with their needs and preferences.
- Leadership and coordination responsibilities include overseeing the design and tailoring processes to ensure satisfaction and quality.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts to create sophisticated and functional clothing
- Expertise in Embroidery and Textiles for detailed craftsmanship and quality material selection
- Strong skills in Fitting and understanding bespoke tailoring techniques to ensure precision and comfort
- Excellent customer consultation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Job Title: Fashion Pattern Maker
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Role Description
- Pattern maker provides effective and cost-efficient pattern solutions and an understanding of apparel construction, material construction and properties related to fit.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is also required for this role and the primary wear will be womens clothing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work from drawings, sketches, samples, and layouts, using micrometers, calipers, gauges, scales, and other instruments that relate to pattern making
- Develop basic and model patterns, drive the pattern creation of fully graded technically innovative basic and fit critical model patterns in cooperation with X-functional partners based on market requirements
- Leads and independently drives the pattern creation of fully graded technically innovative basic and fit critical model patterns in cooperation with cross-functional partners based on market requirements
- The creation and alteration of original sample patterns, the conversion of these sample patterns for production through fittings
- Construct, revise, and repair patterns, core boxes, and models, repair damaged or worn metal patterns, cast plastic, and urethane as required
- Makes prototype patterns for fit, appearance, sew ability and packaging
- When line is finalized, assign pattern numbers to manufacturing specs, attend spec writing meetings for each season, and finalize construction details with manufacturing personnel
- Grade full sets of patterns from sample size pattern
- Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a BSc, HND or OND in Fashion or related fields, Self thought individual with real life experience will also be considered for this role.
- Must have 2+ years of work experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (3D CAD)
- Pattern Design and Pattern Making expertise (Women & Men)
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in the fashion or tailoring industry is a plus
- Certification or training in pattern making or fashion design
