Key responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that existing internal controls and risk management practices in the group are strictly adhered to.
- Responsible for keeping the Group Head abreast of all occurrences in the Group through a quality and robust Quality Assurance report.
- Coordinate Group meetings and training.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure GL reconciliation checks are accurate and escalate exceptions.
- Supervise periodic spot checks and process audits across key E-business Operations functions.
- Mentor and train QA team members on process knowledge, audit expectations, and documentation standards.
- Assign and monitor review tasks based on team capacity and priorities.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory and internal SLA timelines (e.g., CBN SLA for reversals).
- Support internal/external audit reviews and respond to QA-related queries.
Qualification
- First Degree in any Discipline with a minimum of Second-Class honors.
- Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage
Professional Membership:
- A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
Skills/Competencies:
- Ability to lead a team and make sound judgments based on evidence and QA findings.
- Familiarity with core banking systems (e.g., Flexcube), switching platforms, and digital banking interfaces.
- Understanding of governing principles and rules of E-business operations.
- Ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, or deviations in data or processes.
- Use of MS office Excel, SQL, or BI tools to investigate and report findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Working closely with operations, compliance, IT, or other relevant teams.
- Handling discrepancies or quality concerns tactfully.

Job Title: Team Lead, Card Settlement
Location:Lagos
Description
- To supervise and authorize settlements and support Unit Head in providing quality service to partners in the area of settlement of transactions
Key responsibilities
- Understanding of governing principles and rules of card settlements.
- Clear understanding of Visa, Verve, Afrigo, Amex and Mastercard settlement process and procedures.
- Ensure timely settlement of card transactions.
- Balance incoming and outgoing transaction report against settlement values received from the associations (Switches).
- Ensure correct entries to relevant settlement, expense or revenue accounts daily.
- Responsible for ensuring that existing internal controls and regulatory policies over the settlement process are strictly adhere to.
- Ensure the merchant transactions are posted into appropriate GL and account.
- Ensure that suspense accounts are cleared daily.
- Ensure that all regulatory reports are rendered as at when due.
- Ensure accurate and timely merchant settlements
- Ensure prompt processing of charge backs to avoid exposure.
- Ensure prompt processing of credit cards settlement and repayment files daily.
- Ensure DTS and credit cards reconciliation.
- Responsible for championing of automation of Settlement processes.
- Analyse Settlement data to identify trends, issues and areas for improvement.
- Ensure regular training and guidance to settlement officers.
- Foster strong relationships with partners and other stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate potential risk in settlement processes.

Qualification

Job Title: Team Member, Corporate Digital Payment Support
Location:Lagos
Description
- To provide an efficient support service delivery to customers on the corporate banking platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily initiated payments continuously to ensure that all transactions are accurately settled or reversed in a timely manner, minimizing operational risks.
- Support the onboarding and management of customers on the Primusplus platform, ensuring seamless setup and user experience.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of customer training programs, onboarding materials, and user guides to enhance platform adoption and usage.
- Ensure all activities comply with the Bank’s service standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of relevant reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

- Call over accurately of processed transactions / customer mandates as applicable.
- Perform all assigned tasks diligently and proactively, as directed by the Team Lead, Corporate Digital Payment Support.

- Evaluate the current functionalities and capabilities of existing internet solutions, assist in defining requirements and building a strong business case for upgrading the Primusplus platform
