NAQS Recruitment 2026 Positions
The recruitment exercise covers applicants with different educational qualifications, including SSCE, OND/NCE and university degrees.
1. Superintendent of Quarantine Cadre
Available positions include:
- Chief Superintendent of Quarantine (CSQ) – CONMESS 2: Applicants are required to possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Deputy Superintendent of Quarantine (DSQ) – CONRAISS 08: Applicants should possess a Law degree or MSc in another field, alongside NYSC discharge or exemption Certificates
- Assistant Superintendent of Quarantine II (ASQ II) – CONRAISS 07: Applicants should possess a first degree from a recognised institution and NYSC discharge certificate.
2. Inspectorate Cadre
Inspector of Quarantine (IQ I–IQ III) – CONRAISS 05
Applicants for the General Duty Inspectorate positions should possess an OND or NCE qualification from a recognised institution.
3. Assistant Cadre
Quarantine Assistant (QA I–QA III) – CONRAISS 04
Applicants should possess SSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level, with the required credits in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
General NAQS Recruitment Requirements
Applicants are expected to meet the applicable requirements, which include:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must have a National Identification Number (NIN).
- Must be medically fit.
- Must provide a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital.
- Must pass the required drug test.
- Must be of good character and have no criminal conviction.
- Must be computer literate.
- Applicants must meet the stated physical requirements where applicable.
- Relevant certificates and qualifications must be declared during the recruitment process.
