Job Title: Field Worker III
Location:Ibadan, Oyo

Responsibilities
- Execute nursery propagation activities such as substrate preparation, potting, corm splitting, extraction, watering and general handling of nursery plantlets.
- Maintain cleanliness of nursery facilities, tools, and related work areas, and support movement of planting materials.
- Practice compliance with lab and screen house standard operation and safety procedures during routine operations.
- Record basic data for propagation experiments and ensure proper labeling and traceability as guided.
- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- O’ Level with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Detail-oriented team player with strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills, capable of working independently while maintaining quality, productivity, and a safe work environment.
- Skilled in accurate data recording, material labeling, and maintaining traceability of plant materials and experiments.
- Experience in banana and other vegetative propagated crop production, with a basic understanding of tissue culture laboratory and screenhouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of nursery propagation techniques, plant handling, substrate preparation, potting, watering, and general nursery maintenance.
