The Dangote Group, a prominent business conglomerate in Nigeria known for its commitment to excellence and quality products, is seeking candidates for their HEMM Operators Training Programme in Obajana, Kogi. This program aims to train individuals to become skilled and safe operators for mining operations, with the goal of preparing them to work as certified mines HEMM Operators for Dangote Cement.
The training program will include a variety of activities such as safety training, classroom instruction, simulations, workshops, and hands-on field practice to ensure participants are well-prepared for operating Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) effectively and safely.

To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must have completed secondary school with a minimum of 5 credits including English and Mathematics, or have a technical college background with relevant certifications. They should also possess good physical and mental fitness, a strong sense of safety awareness, and be willing to undergo intensive training and assessments. While previous experience in mining or equipment operation is beneficial, it is not required.
Candidates between the ages of 22 to 35 with a valid means of identification are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will receive benefits such as free hostel accommodation, basic health care, monthly stipends, a Dangote Cement HEMM Operator Certificate, and a Group H Driver’s License throughout the 6-month training period.
