THRIVE Academy offers a 12-week program designed to support early-stage startups in the agrifood tech industry as they work to bring their innovative ideas to market. The program is focused on helping entrepreneurs minimize risks, validate their concepts, and prepare for future growth and investment opportunities.
During the first phase of the program, participants engage in intensive virtual programming and receive mentorship to establish a strong foundation for their companies. They are guided in becoming market-ready and investor-ready, setting the stage for future success.

In the second phase, participants implement what they have learned, continue to receive mentorship, and have the opportunity to showcase their progress during Demo Day. Feedback is provided to help them plan their next steps and continue on their entrepreneurial journey.
THRIVE Academy is seeking founders with promising ideas in the agrifood tech sector, particularly those in the pre-seed to early seed-stage. The program offers a range of benefits, including access to tools and support for building a scalable company foundation, mentorship from industry experts, and guidance on becoming investment-ready.
Participants also have the opportunity to test and validate their ideas, access resources such as the Old’s College Smart Farm, and potentially graduate into THRIVE’s Canada or Global Accelerator programs.
