The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship is a part of Matrix Energy Limited’s commitment to giving back to society through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Matrix Energy Limited, in partnership with the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, is excited to announce fully funded postgraduate scholarship opportunities in Materials Engineering.
Eligibility requirements for Master’s candidates include holding a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) upon graduation.
For Doctoral candidates, a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a related field is required. The Master’s program should be research-based, with a minimum of 60% weighted average in coursework.
Benefits of the scholarship include full coverage of tuition fees, accommodation support, a monthly living allowance, research funding, a laptop, and opportunities for industry exposure.
To apply for the Matrix Energy Scholarship, interested candidates are encouraged to submit their credentials along with a brief research proposal or synopsis of their intended study to the Postgraduate Programme Coordinator at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
