Applications for the Impact Grant Fund (IGF) 2026 will officially open on 1 September 2026, providing grant funding and business growth support to eligible Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tanzania.
The Impact Grant Fund (IGF) was established by Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania (FSDT) and is funded by the European Union (EU) through the Financial Services for Growth (F4G) Programme.
The grant administration process is managed by KPMG Advisory Limited, which will oversee the application and grant management activities.

What the IGF Offers

Why the Fund Was Created
The IGF seeks to address some of the challenges that prevent MSMEs from accessing finance, including:

- Lack of collateral
- Weak financial records and management systems
- High perceived lending risks
- Limited access to financial services suited to MSME needs
Who Should Prepare to Apply?
MSMEs operating in the eligible regions are encouraged to prepare their business documentation ahead of the application opening.
Women- and youth-led businesses with strong growth potential are particularly encouraged to apply.
