Location:River Park Estate, Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)
Faculty: Laboratory Technical Services
College: Paul Odili College of Medicine

Minimum Requirements

Possession of a relevant Degree, HND or equivalent professional qualification in the relevant laboratory discipline.
Appropriate professional registration/licence where applicable.
Minimum of 12 years relevant post-qualification experience.
Significant experience in laboratory administration, supervision and management.
Ability to supervise technical staff and coordinate laboratory operations.
Demonstrated competence in equipment management, quality control, laboratory safety and inventory management.
Experience supporting undergraduate/postgraduate teaching and research.
Good administrative and leadership skills.

Other Requirements:

Provide verifiable academic and professional credentials.
Demonstrate competence in laboratory safety and equipment handling
Be medically fit and capable of performing laboratory duties.
Demonstrate good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Be willing to perform other duties assigned by the appropriate University authority
Candidates with experience in universities, teaching hospitals, research institutes, medical laboratories and other recognized laboratory facilities will have an added advantage.
