An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate researchers worldwide. Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is inviting applications for fully funded PhD scholarships, giving talented individuals the chance to pursue their research aspirations in Germany.
What’s on Offer | Funding Package
The scholarship includes a monthly stipend of €1,500 to assist with living expenses while undertaking a PhD at BTU. Additionally, there is a family allowance of €150 per child per month for doctoral candidates with children, upon submission of required documentation (such as a certificate from the Kindergeldkasse).
Funding is available for a period of up to 36 months, providing significant support for conducting high-quality research in various scientific and academic fields.
Please be aware that this scholarship is not a guaranteed entitlement, and the selection of recipients is subject to approval by the GRS Awarding Commission.
Who Can Apply | Eligibility Criteria
- You must already be admitted to or applying for a PhD/doctorate program at BTU.
- You must have a confirmed supervisor at BTU. Applications from those who have not yet secured a BTU supervisor will not be considered.
- You should submit a letter of acceptance from your supervisor at BTU if you’re still in the process of being admitted.
- Only individual doctoral/PhD students may apply. Applications submitted by supervisors on behalf of students will not be accepted.
- Your supervisor must be able to provide academic resources for your research project at BTU.
