FG NDE Renewed Hope Job Creation Program: The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) is dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals facing unemployment by developing and implementing programs that focus on promoting entrepreneurship, sustainable employment, and vocational skills training. These initiatives aim to empower individuals, particularly youth and undergraduates, by providing them with the necessary skills and resources to access the job market and start their own businesses.
In alignment with the vision of Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the NDE has recently finalized plans to engage 93,731 unskilled and unemployed individuals across Nigeria. Through this initiative, participants will receive training in various vocational, agricultural, and entrepreneurial skills, with a focus on public works projects that encompass over 30 different skill areas.
Upon completion of the training, participants will not only receive start-up capital, equipment, and tools but will also be connected with credit institutions to access loans for starting small and medium-scale businesses. Interested individuals can apply by visiting the NDE website, creating an account, and registering online with necessary documents.
Furthermore, the NDE has approved the immediate payment of stipends and trainers’ allowances for trainees and trainers for the period between April and August 2024.
