Interns selected for the program will receive a stipend of up to US$700 per month in the local currency. This opportunity is open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate programs, as well as recent graduates, looking to enhance their academic knowledge with practical experience in a field relevant to FAO’s mission.
FAO, a specialized agency of the United Nations, is dedicated to leading global efforts to eradicate hunger and ensure food security for all. Operating in over 130 countries with 194 member states, FAO believes in the collective effort to end hunger and promote healthy, active lives for all individuals.
To be eligible for the 2025 FAO Internship, candidates must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution, specialize in a field relevant to FAO’s work, have proficiency in at least one FAO language, be nationals of FAO Member Nations, and demonstrate adaptability to an international environment with strong communication skills.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of $700 for the duration of the program, which lasts between 3 to 11 months. Applications must be submitted through the FAO recruitment portal, and candidates will be assessed based on their academic credentials from recognized institutions.
