The Nigerian Navy (NN) is an integral part of the Nigerian Armed Forces, playing a crucial role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests. With a significant presence on the African continent, the Nigerian Navy comprises a diverse team of dedicated personnel, including those serving in the Coast Guard.
We are excited to welcome applications from qualified Nigerian individuals for special enlistment into the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 37. We are looking for individuals who meet the educational requirements for various categories within our organization.
For example, if you are interested in becoming a Marine Engineer Artificer (MEA), you will need a minimum of 5 credits at SSCE or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Similarly, for roles like Weapon Electrical Artificers (WEA) or Aircraft Engineering Artificers, specific educational qualifications are required.
In addition to technical roles, we also have opportunities for individuals interested in areas such as Communications, IT, Seaman, Sportsmen and Sportswomen, and many more. Each category has its own set of educational requirements, ensuring that we have a diverse and skilled team to serve our nation.
We value diversity and inclusivity in our recruitment process. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, between the ages of 18-22 years (or 18-26 years for those with OND qualifications), and possess the necessary educational qualifications. We also have specific guidelines regarding medical/physical challenges, height requirements, and the submission of primary school leaving certificates.

- Recruitment Aptitude Test will hold on 18th January, 2025 at designated centres nationwide.
- Please note that Nigerian Navy Online registration and all other Recruitment processes are FREE OF CHARGE and no payment should be made at any point to anyone throughout the Exercise.
- The Attestation Form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signee’s Driver License, International Passport or National ID Card. The signee is also to authenticate the passport photograph of the applicant.
- Only a single valid application is permitted, multiple online application shall be disqualified
- Successful applicants will undergo basic military training and on completion will be enlisted into the Service of the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
