Fully Funded UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowships in Engineering

In an effort to support the growth of human resources in developing nations and foster international understanding and friendship, the Polish National Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO Chair for Science, Technology, and Engineering at AGH University in Krakow, Poland, are offering twenty-eight (28) fellowships to developing Member States.

These fellowships provide recipients with the opportunity to conduct individual research in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering for a period of 6 months between October 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. The program will take place at AGH University in Krakow, UNESCO AGH Chair.

Eligibility for the program is open to candidates from various countries in Africa, Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean.

Benefits of the fellowship include free tuition, access to university facilities, a monthly allowance, a one-time special allowance, international travel expenses covered by UNESCO, health insurance, and a pocket allowance.

To apply, candidates must submit the UNESCO fellowships application form, a copy of their passport, identity photo, certified copies of degrees obtained, a UNESCO certificate of language knowledge, and two letters of recommendation. Once endorsed by the National Commission for UNESCO, candidates can submit their application via email.

This program aims to support individuals from developing countries in their research endeavors and contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and engineering on a global scale.
