This transformative program aims to empower women entrepreneurs in Nigeria by equipping them with the necessary skills and resources to elevate their small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into high-growth, fundable ventures. The program will focus on investment readiness, connecting participants directly with funding opportunities, and fostering a supportive ecosystem for their businesses.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Business Ownership:
– Must be a women-led business based in Nigeria.
– At least 51% ownership by women, or a minimum of 20% ownership with a female CEO or COO.
2. Board Representation:
– If the business has a board, at least 30% of the board members must be female.
3. Employee Count:
– The business should have between 5 to 300 employees.
Program Benefits:
– Investment Readiness Training: Participants will receive training on how to prepare their businesses for investment, including financial management, business planning, and pitching to investors.
– Access to Funding Opportunities: The program will facilitate direct connections to potential funders, including venture capitalists, angel investors, and grant opportunities.
– Networking and Support: Participants will join a community of like-minded women entrepreneurs, providing opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and sharing of resources.
– Ecosystem Development: The program will work towards creating a supportive ecosystem that nurtures women-led businesses, including partnerships with financial institutions, business development organizations, and government agencies.
