The Technical Teachers Training Programme (TTTP) is a special project initiated by the Federal Ministry of Education with the goal of breathing new life into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria.
This program is dedicated to providing teachers in the fields of Science, Mathematics, Technical, and Vocational Education with the necessary skills to prepare students for the demands of the modern workforce.
About the Programme
The 2025/2026 TTTP offers a tuition-free, one-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) for qualified teachers. This program is designed to enhance the teaching and technical abilities of educators, ensuring they are equipped with the latest teaching techniques and industry standards.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Technical Teachers Training Programme (TTTP), applicants must:
- Be a teacher currently teaching technical or vocational subjects in a public secondary technical school or college in Nigeria.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of service left before retirement.
- Be medically fit, with a recent medical report required at the point of application.
