Sustainable Energy Accelerator (SEA) 2025 Program

Africa is facing significant energy challenges that are impacting social and economic development, as well as contributing to environmental degradation and climate change. However, these challenges also present opportunities for innovative solutions in sustainable energy. The Sustainable Energy Accelerator, an initiative by AIIDEV Africa, aims to support entrepreneurs and organizations in creating transformative solutions that can improve energy access, reduce environmental impacts, and drive economic growth.

The SEA program is designed to catalyze the development and deployment of sustainable energy solutions across Africa. Participants will engage in a 6-month accelerator program that includes workshops, case studies, research, boot camps, and mentorship sessions to enhance their knowledge and skills in the energy sector. The goal is to empower participants to drive positive change in Africa’s energy landscape.

The Sustainable Energy Accelerator is open to a variety of projects and startups focused on renewable energy, energy-efficient technologies, energy storage, clean cooking, smart grid systems, digital energy solutions, and sustainable transportation. By fostering collaboration and providing comprehensive support, SEA aims to build a global network of professionals dedicated to sustainable energy solutions and contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector in Africa.

Eligibility Criteria:

To participate in this program, please note the following criteria before proceeding with your application:

  1. Applicants must be from a Sub-Saharan African country and between the ages of 21 and 40.
  2. Applicants must have a genuine interest and passion for renewable energy and the green economy and a desire to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development in Africa.
  3. SEA applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in their respective communities.
  4. You must be ready to commit at least 5 hours weekly and available to actively participate in the programme.
  5. Applicants must have access to a reliable internet connection, data, and necessary technology devices to fully participate in virtual activities and meetings.
