At Nigeria Youth Futures Fund, our goal is to empower young leaders in Nigeria by engaging in policy discussions that lead to tangible outcomes and providing resources that enable youth to shape the country’s long-term development plans.
The grant program offered by NYFF plays a crucial role in supporting underfunded youth activists and organizations, enhancing the effectiveness and reach of their work. This is particularly significant as there is a disparity between the funds available to young people and the funds they are able to access.
The grants available include small grants (targeting grassroots initiatives with limited resources), development grants (supporting youth-led organizations focused on enhancing youth inclusion), and catalyst grants (aimed at bolstering the capacity of civic and innovation hubs across Nigeria).
The 2025 grant cycle is now open for applications from eligible individuals and organizations seeking support through the Youth Leadership Development Fund. The grants are intended to strengthen and promote youth-led initiatives in line with the thematic areas of good governance and addressing national challenges.
