The French government is proud to offer the MOPGA Visiting Fellowship Program, which aims to support early career international researchers in conducting their research in France. This program provides a monthly allowance of 2,500 euros, a moving allowance of 500 euros, and a comprehensive health insurance plan that includes civil liability and repatriation assistance.

France is committed to leading the charge against climate change and upholding the principles of the Paris Agreement. In line with this commitment, the MOPGA visiting fellowship program has been established to enhance scientific contributions to climate change issues discussed at the COPs.
The seventh round of applications for the Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) program is now open, with a goal of welcoming at least 40 early career researchers to France. This program is funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Ministry for Higher Education and Research, and is administered by Campus France.
Eligibility
You must be:
- Foreign researchers holding a doctoral degree for less than 5 years
- No nationality restrictions (except France)
Benefits
- Monthly allowance of 2,500 euros
- Moving allowance of 500 euros
- Health Insurance plan covering civil liability and repatriation assistance until the MOPGA Fellow’s registration to the French Social Security Scheme
- Complementary Health Insurance plan covering civil liability and repatriation assistance once the Social Security registration process is effective.

- PhD Diploma (or certificate of PhD diploma)
- CV of your research supervisor in the French host institution (2 pages max)
- Letter of support from the French host institution
