The internship program is a reflection of Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and our support for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme. This program offers valuable learning experiences for Nigerian students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate degrees. It is designed to help students enhance their technical knowledge, acquire new skills, and make meaningful contributions in a professional setting.
As an intern at Chevron, you will engage in diverse assignments related to your field of study or research. You will be guided by a supervisor who will assign daily tasks and oversee your professional growth and development.
This program provides a unique opportunity to gain industry insights, develop practical skills, receive mentorship, learn from experienced professionals within the company, and participate in other enriching experiences.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is open only to Nigerian students studying in-country or overseas.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a Master’s degree, Doctorate degree and/or postgraduate professional qualification.
- Research and/or Industry experience must be a requirement to complete your program.
Requirements
Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions which must be submitted with the internship application.
- The program has a minimum duration of 6 months with a maximum of 12 months for Master’s degree, and 24 months for Doctorate degree

- All applicants will go through a shortlisting process which will include aptitude tests and/or interviews. Selections will be strictly based on performance and available space.
