Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has unveiled the Rivers State Microfinance Agency (RIMA) Loan 2024, a N4 billion initiative established in collaboration with the Bank of Industry (BOI) to bolster Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
In his address marking his first 100 days in office, Governor Fubara highlighted the strategic partnership with BOI, underscoring its potential to significantly curb unemployment and foster entrepreneurship. The program is designed to offer accessible credit to MSME entrepreneurs at highly competitive interest rates, with a repayment period extending up to five years.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for RIMA Loan:

- Be either indigenes or residents of Rivers State
- Be aged 18 years and above
- Own a business
