Herbert Wigwe University, a private institution established by Mr. Wigwe in his hometown of Isiokpo in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, is currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team in various roles. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to providing exceptional services to our students and staff, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.
1. Faculty Officer:
We are in search of a dedicated individual to coordinate all faculty administrative and process operations. Candidates with prior experience in a similar role are encouraged to apply.
2. Medical Doctor:
Join our team to provide medical and clinical services to our university community. Candidates must possess an MBBS from a recognized university and have 5-7 years of experience in General/Family Medicine within Nigeria.
3. Nurses:
We are looking for compassionate nurses to provide clinic nursing care to all users of the university health center. Candidates must hold relevant nursing degrees and certificates with a valid practice license, along with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
4. Hall Warden:
Candidates with a good Honors degree in Humanities, Management Sciences, or Social Sciences are invited to apply for this position. Minimum qualifications include an HND or Bachelor’s Degree, with applicants aged 45 years and above.
5. Porter:
Individuals with a good Honors degree in Humanities, Management Sciences, or Social Sciences are encouraged to apply for this role. Minimum qualifications include an SSCE or OND, with applicants aged between 25 to 40 years.
6. Lab Scientist:
Candidates with a B.Sc degree in Medical Lab Science and 3-5 years of experience in a similar role are invited to apply.
7. Pharmacist:
We are seeking a Pharmacist to manage the university’s pharmacy operations and support the health and wellness of our community. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, membership with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
8. Librarian II:
Join our library team as a Librarian II to manage resources, assist with research, and promote library services. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science and Information Science, with at least 2 years of experience in a library environment.
9. College Secretaries:
Experienced individuals are needed to provide secretarial and administrative support as required.
10. Assistant Research Director:
Candidates with a PhD in Computer Science or STEM fields, along with 7-12 years of progressive research experience in the education sector, are encouraged to apply.
